As we continue our STARL Mega Giveaway Spree and contests to earn a Living Module, STARL and the Wyrmbyte team continue developing the metaverse. Let’s take a look into the design work for various sizes of Living Modules and an extra peak at the Production Units that give Living Module owners rewards in STARL Pass Points!

Explore the Living Module documents here.

The “Limited Artist Editions” Living Modules come in 4 sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and Luxury. These property sizes reflect the interior of the modules that a user can experience within the metaverse. The size properties also differentiate where the modules orbit around a planet or celestial object. The bigger the size, the closer they are to the planet. Below are screenshots of recent developments of each size’s interior and views.

All the interiors are designed in Unreal Engine 5 and take advantage of the unique and rich lighting advantages the technology provides. Opening the blinds of a Living Module view is quite an experience!

Small Size Living Module:

Beautiful view from a small Living Module’s living area

Small Living Modules may have less area to experience than the larger units, however, they still have an incredible view of the entire planet and beyond and have a very comfortable living space.

You can take in the whole view from a Small Living Module.

Small Living Modules come with one Production Unit in the newly designed Production Rooms. Owners will need to explore the other Living Modules to collect the other resource types in hidden locations to process STARL Pass Points, but that’s the fun aspect of earning with a Living Module! Learn more about that here.

Medium Size Living Module:

The Medium size is what we have as a demo in our Early Access Metaverse Client. You can download and experience it with a full guided tour from our website. The guided tour will explain each room as you explore, with some quirky humor added in for fun. Make sure to open the blinds via the button on the wall as you enter the Living Module. The view is breathtaking!

As we progress in development, Living Module ownerswill be able to upgrade their location and view to other planets and celestial objects.

Medium size modules have a slightly larger living area and a much larger washroom with a view. Medium size units come with two Production Units in the Production Room shown below.

Large Size Living Module:

Large-size Living Modules come with some excellent extras: an expanded living and dining space, a lounge area, closer proximity to the planet you orbit, and three Production Units in their Production Rooms. You can have some fun parties in this size of Module!

Did you know? … Owning a Living Module lets you earn daily Pass Points just by holding it in your wallet. Interacting with the Living Module in the metaverse and gathering the five resources and processing them helps you gain double the rewards.

Luxury Size Living Module:

Luxury units come with four Production Units, so to do the daily STARL Pass Point processing, users only need to gather one more resource from other Living Modules. This gives owners more time to kick back and enjoy the beautifully animated view.

The Living Module Production Center:

Each “Limited Artist Edition” Living Module has a Production Center that combines needed resources, brews them, and earns STARL Pass Points. Each time this process is implemented, it cannot be done again for another 24 hours (cooldown). The larger the Living Module, the higher the amount of STARL Play Pass Points rewarded.

The five resources needed to keep your Living Module running and liveable are Nutrients, Oxygen, Water, Element X, and Wenergy. The team has recently designed and added new Production Rooms attached to the Center that contain production units that cultivate these resources. These tanks are fully animated in Unreal Engine 5 and are incredibly detailed.

The Production Units (the resource tanks) create the needed resources to earn. The Production Center consumes these resources, brews them, and creates the STARL Pass Points.

Station owners can make up to four of the five resources themselves in production units (1 to 4) depending on the size of their Living Module. Small = 1, Medium = 2, Large = 3, Luxury = 4. Owners will have to scout and locate the rest of the needed resources by visiting other Living Modules via a teleporter. Each Living Module is randomly assigned the resources in their tanks. The rest need to be located. More information about this process is located in our documents here.

“We want people to interact with and experience the environments that we create. Living in space presents unique challenges, such as acquiring resources and energy to survive, and we thought we could combine this theme with the earning potential of Living Modules to make them fun and engaging.”

— Scott Brown, CEO of Wyrmbyte and Lead Game & Metaverse developer of STARL

Hopefully, this gives you a little more insight into the differences between the interiors of our “Limited Artist Edition” Living Modules, the Production Center and rooms, and how they earn STARL Pass Points!
