A Huge STARL Metaverse Project Milestone! Wallet Connect is now live in Unreal Engine 5, along with many other updates!
We have exciting news for all our STARL Troopers out there! We are now live with Wallet Connect in our Metaverse, all running on Unreal Engine 5. To say this is a massive accomplishment is an understatement. In 1 year, we went from a token launch with no team to a complete blockchain and game design project designing and building out a space-themed metaverse and MMO game on Unreal Engine 5. Since then, the development teams on both our Marketplace side and the Wyrmbyte team on the game side have been working nonstop to develop wallet-connection for our client. And now… It’s here!
The STARL Metaverse client now connects directly to the STARL Marketplace, and users’ profiles are synced. In addition, the interactions on both sides are synced, so if a user buys or trades tokens or NFTs on the Marketplace side or their wallet, the Metaverse side will show it and react accordingly to what is in that user’s wallet. The Metaverse and Marketplace are in constant contact and provide our users with a safe and streamlined experience to have fun and immerse in the beautiful environments our team and Unreal Engine 5 provide.

STARL Metaverse Updates:
Wallet Connect-related Updates
- Use Wallet-Connect to log in with a QR code via phone or browser via Metamask.
- Metaverse is now synced to the Marketplace Profile.
- Pressing N brings up NFT UI showing STARL NFTs in your wallet.
- STARL Token and Pass Point balance displayed
- The Living Module portal entrance now prompts and lists the Modules you own, and clicking them takes you to the correct sized Module interior and location in the solar system.
- PixelNaut Lounge requires owning a PixelNaut to enter.
- Warp Nexus is closed off entirely for now as we update the game economy, sectors, and customizations.
- Users can now see Pass Points and STARL token values on the NFT screen in-game.
Backend Updates
- Upgrade to Dynamic Servers utilizing AWS Gamelift. Previously, we had servers that were always on and occasionally needed manually rebooting. Now, we are utilizing the advancements provided by AWS Gamelift. GameLift helps deliver high-reliable and dynamic scaling resource usage to meet worldwide player demand.
- One of the outstanding improvements the STARL Metaverse gets from Gamelift servers is once multiplayer comes to Warp Nexus, it will create servers close to the player worldwide. With this update, the STARL Metaverse experience has significantly improved latency and reliability.
Cosmetic Updates
- New Trooper visor designs are in, and show how this will become an increasingly customizable wearable so you can be yourself. This is just the start.
- Dance like the undead ;)
Remarks: The earning and production units are not ready yet for the living module.
How to Log-in to the STARL Metaverse:
- Download the STARL client by clicking on the download link at the top right of https://starlproject.com/
- You will need a Metamask wallet account on Ethereum Mainnet. You can use your phone via the Metamask app or the Metamask extension on desktop browser to be able to log in.
- All users need a Profile in the STARL Metaverse. To do this, go to the STARL Marketplace and click Connect Wallet (via Metamask Wallet).
- If you try logging in without a Profile set up, the STARL Metaverse client will direct you to the STARL Marketplace to set up a Profile.
- Otherwise, you can go directly to https://market.starlproject.com/en/market and create a Profile before logging in.
- Click “Connect Wallet” on the top right of the STARL Marketplace.
- Click Sign In.
8. Create a Profile by filling in your Username and Social info. Only a Username is required if you want to leave the other fields blank.
9. Once your Profile is created and you Sign in, you will be logged into the Metaverse automatically in the client. So go back to the STARL Metaverse client and enjoy!
Safety:
The STARL Metaverse wallet connection is “read-only.” While there will be transactions for Pass Points, blockchain-side transactions take place on the STARL Marketplace only with the complete security of Metamask in the browser.
You can play and explore in the beautiful environment with your mind at ease, knowing that your wallet is safe and sound while also being recognized in the Metaverse. And if you want to make blockchain transactions, the STARL Marketplace will be the one-stop shop to do so for the Metaverse.
